Launched in Toronto with a modest team and big dreams, Moderno wasn’t born in a boardroom—it was born on job sites, in late-night planning sessions, and from the kind of fire only entrepreneurs truly know. But just months into its journey, the world changed.

 

COVID-19 hit. Hard.

 

While many businesses shuttered, Ervin didn’t flinch. He turned challenges into opportunities. While others froze, he moved. With Ervin personally overseeing operations and building relationships with every client, trust grew. And in the middle of a global crisis, so did Moderno.

 

By 2022, Moderno had not only survived but thrived—expanding its services into capital projects, including concrete repairs, garage restorations, and full building refurbishments. The team grew. The fleet grew. The reputation soared.
